## 🎨 Switching Product Types

You can change product type at any time during design:

1. Go to Properties panel
2. Find **Product Type** section (top)
3. Click dropdown and select new type
4. Layout will adjust automatically

**What Happens When You Switch**:
- ✅ Camera repositions to optimal angle
- ✅ Spacing adjusts for product type
- ✅ Radius changes to typical size
- ✅ All your beads are preserved
- ✅ Customizations remain intact

**When to Switch**:
- Experimenting with design across products
- Creating matching sets (e.g., bracelet + necklace)
- Seeing how design scales to different sizes
- Repurposing design for different jewelry

---

## 🎯 Product-Specific Tips

### Creating Jewelry Sets

Design a **matching bracelet and necklace**:
1. Create bracelet design first
2. Save the design
3. Duplicate the design
4. Switch to necklace product type
5. Add more beads to extend length
6. Adjust focal point placement

### Design Versatility

Some designs work across multiple product types:
- **Simple patterns**: Scale well to any size
- **Gemstone designs**: Beautiful as rings or bracelets
- **Charm designs**: Work for bracelets and anklets
- **Gradient effects**: Stunning in necklaces and bracelets

### Size Awareness

Remember real-world proportions:
- **Ring**: Smallest, most delicate
- **Earrings**: Light and small
- **Bracelet**: Medium, comfortable
- **Anklet**: Similar to bracelet, slightly larger
- **Necklace**: Largest, can be bold

---

## 📐 Customizing Layout

Beyond product type defaults, you can fine-tune the layout:

### Radius Control
- Smaller radius = tighter curve
- Larger radius = looser curve
- Adjust to match real-world sizing

### Spacing Control
- Tight spacing: Beads touch or nearly touch
- Loose spacing: Visible gaps (charm style)
- Use string/cord to fill gaps visually

### Arc Angle
- **360°**: Complete circle (bracelets, rings, full necklace)
- **180°**: Half circle (necklace front, earring hoops)
- **90°-120°**: Partial arcs for unique designs
- Custom angles for creative layouts

### Layout Mode
- **Curved**: Beads follow circular arc (default)
- **Linear**: Beads in straight line (experimental)

---

## 💡 Creative Ideas

### Mix Products in Collection
- Design bracelet, earrings, and necklace set
- Use same color palette and materials
- Create cohesive jewelry collection

### Experiment with Arc Angles
- Try unusual angles for modern designs
- 270° for asymmetric necklaces
- 120° for crescent moon earrings

### Scale Designs
- Start with ring design
- Scale up to bracelet
- Further scale to necklace
- See how pattern evolves

### Product-Specific Effects
- **Rings**: Single focal glow effect
- **Earrings**: Matching iridescent shimmer
- **Bracelets**: Alternating pearl luster
- **Necklaces**: Gradient of effects
- **Anklets**: Beach-inspired frosted glass

## 🔍 Troubleshooting

### Beads Look Too Small
- Increase default bead size in Global Defaults
- Choose larger size option (L or XL)
- Remember ring/earrings are meant to be delicate

### Design Doesn't Fit
- Adjust radius to make circle larger/smaller
- Reduce bead count for smaller products
- Increase spacing between beads

### Camera Angle Seems Off
- Each product type has optimized camera
- Manually rotate view if needed
- Camera auto-adjusts when switching products

### Design Too Crowded
- Reduce bead count
- Increase spacing
- Switch to larger product type
